Kefir Ranch

Oh ranch dressing… We all love it, but does it love you? If you’re buying it from the market, the answer is no, it does not. Check the label. You’ll find that it’s filled with highly inflaming commercial seed oils and junk ingredients.

But here I’m offering you a delicious and easy alternative that is actually good for you and will increase the bioavailability of those vegetables you’re using as a vessel. So dip away! My favorite crudites veggies are endive, fennel, blanched asparagus, and of course jicama. This recipe calls for fresh herbs, but dried will work just fine as well! You can use half the amount in dried.

I hope you make this. Your kids will love it too. Let me know what you think!

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 cup whole milk plain kefir

  • 2 tbsp fresh dill, chopped

  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

  • 2 tbsp fresh chives, chopped

  • 1 tsp lemon juice

  • 2 tsp kosher salt

Combine all ingredients together in a bowl and enjoy as you please. This makes a great salad dressing as well. Store in a jar in the refrigerator for up to a week.
